That rear body mount screams Tamiya. I will research it but I think you have a TG-10
Edit...TGX 1/8

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Certainly has the same body mount as my TGX, which is 1:8... http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=122064&sid=154... although it's a little difficult as there's not much standard on your friend's car, 8valve....gomachv wrote:That rear body mount screams Tamiya. That's what I was suggesting but also it wouldn't be the first time we saw a lot from Sassy Chassis's owner get posted here.gomachv wrote:I think Phin is trying to tell u that it's a Sassy Chassis. I can't remember the differences between Sassy and the Duratrax/Max Trax chassis but if he says it's Sassy I believe him!
...

I've never seen the Duratrax chassis but from what is shown in those pics I think it's a Sassy Chassis for the USA-1....has the bellcranks too.

I think you meant USA-1 tire. If you notice it says Kyosho right on the sidewall.THUNDERSTRIKE1 wrote:TIRE WITH RC10 3 PIECE CLOD TIRE
Also yes, that is a Sassy Chassis. Speaking of which... There has been someone on eBay lately making knockoffs of the Clod ones. I'm surprised the creator of the brand hasn't done anything about it yet Since he still owns the rights to the company and name.

Thanks Alex and GomachV! That certainly seems to be what you guys say it is.Incredible_Serious wrote:Certainly has the same body mount as my TGX, which is 1:8... http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=122064&sid=154... although it's a little difficult as there's not much standard on your friend's car, 8valve....gomachv wrote:That rear body mount screams Tamiya. Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
i always thought it was a mohawk too, until another member with an andy's catalog said different. then LTO Dave also posted a pic of a mohawk in the thread which confirms it.
