Did someone say that he out has no wheels and tires in the box?

Tim can you confirm this?

Picture in the box shows the car w/ wheels. In the theme of this being a mostly retro kit I'd expect the kit to at least come with as many pieces as what came in the box back in the 90s.

Phin, the shock bodies are still .71" not .89" someone was posting assumptions about why the need for the offset spring cups. In reality it is because of the spring height and the amount of threads on the shock body.

JPAE, the kit does come with wheels but no tires. The B5's are also like this and the reason is that there is not reason to pass on the cost of tires to the customers when chances are they will be tires that might not work for them. Therefore we can lower the kit price and save the customer money and then they can buy the tires they prefer with the money they save.

A 2nd series bulkhead on left (same as rere), original worlds style on right. Outer 6 holes were removed, but one was added in the middle.

It is pretty cool how the instructions say to cut the extra holes off for a more authentic WC look if you wanted to.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before but did the worlds car ever come as a graphite, I have a 2nd hand graphite that has the the front and rear bulkhead + stealth trans brace! will try and post my first picture if that's ok! not the best at IT/Tech. Cheers

Worlds was aluminum only, but the very late team car graphites were sometimes called a worlds graphite. Don't know why, as they lacked the components that made the a worlds car

the shape mimicked AE's australian and detroit worlds cars.

*sigh..Well, that's unfortunate. I caught that mistake while reviewing the manual, but it looks like our manual guy did not send our web guy the updated version that is supposed to say .71". I hate it when this kind of carelessness happens, sorry for any confusion.

I'll have to remind our manual guy that this did not get updated.

Handy to know about the tires, I would have been pretty disappointed to get and start to build the worlds kit only to find it didn't come with tires.

I assume the prototype car has proline holeshots and wide rib?

it wasn't an assumption, if it was .89 body you would need a offset cup to have any chance with the springs. plus i know how to read  but i use the offset spring cups f/r for the threaded 1.32 bodies AE has on sale and team car .71 in the front.

bummer it slipped through the cracks but thanks for the correction

its pretty cool how the cva's are made ups of b4 axles and b44 rear center bones, recycle or use up old stock. i always like how ae parts have been pretty interchangeable over the different plate forms, it really allows us to play around with are kits
