With so much triple A grade Alberta beef around, I would hope that I recognize horse meat. Not saying anything about the AU market of course.
Eating at a few of the local "western Chinese" style places is taking a small risk, all edible though.
Doesn't affect me personally, as I don't consume any meat or animal products....
