FINDING GPM ALLOY PARTS ALL ALLOY BUILD RUSTLER
I have these and wondered if these kits would fit a custom build up im working on. Mostly rustler aftermarket parts i think, all the parts have no label except the traxxas bags in multiple boxes i just received 2 days ago.So you guys are more up on traxxas so think these may work in a rustler tranny case?Id really like to get an alloy gpm tranny case for this project but no paypal.Has anyone got a pic of a gpm rustler chassis?don

Re: 4420 ball diff pro style & 2520 pro ball diff [srt} ?
#2520 will definitely fit the Rustler. You'll just need to drill a small access hole in the left trans case for adjustments.
#4420 I'm almost certain is for the Nitro Rustler. Same as the 2520 with the exception of the 32p diff gear.

Thats what i was thinking exactly since the 2520 comes with both the diff gears and i noticed ive got 4 metal idler gears too.
iI need to take some pics to find out what GPM PARTS I HAVE TOO.No labels on header cars and dont recognise them.says new 2002 and 2003 guess when they were made.don

The two diff gears in the 2520 diff are both 48p. One is for truck transmissions and the other is for buggy trans (TRX-1 and TRX-3).THUNDERSTRIKE1 wrote:Thats what i was thinking exactly since the 2520 comes with both the diff gears and i noticed ive got 4 metal idler gears too.

Whats the scoop on the "old" ball diff that was in the eagle?
Is it any good?

I ran one that was in my eagle a long time...hard. Was a great basher and it never failed me. Only issue I had was getting the thing set where I wanted it. Was a fine line that was between too loose and too tight.

Not exactly. The larger gear (60T) will work in the Rustler/Bandit/Stampede. Also the Blue Eagle line, SRT, Hawk2, and anything with the 2.72 trans.
The smaller gear (45T) will fit the TRX-1, TRX-3, and TCP buggies
