Pretty funny that he added weights inside the milled slots in the chassis.phoenix wrote:Kinwalds rede worlds car at the reedy race:

His car has got some mods done to it and has old non-threaded team shocks so there's no telling by his car if the 3 degree blocks are stock parts or something BK added himself.harvey wrote:Re: last link in post, Kinwald's car sure looks to be running 3 deg. rear arm mounts.

I'd buy a Turbo Optima. I always wanted that car.Raman wrote:So who will join the re-release band wagon next... Many of us want Kyosho to do it, but I would surmise that we shall see pigs and elephants fly before it happens.
So perhaps it will be Losi?

I will probably pick one of these up and run it with the classic body and tyres.Twin Detonator wrote:I just preordered one from Tower Hobbies!!

It looks like they might be going full bore with this. Making the car competitive somewhat right out of the box, able to handle the new tech stuff. This seems more like a long term project than just a re-re or tribute car. They want us to come out and race these cars. I thinks that's awesome, and really looking forward to it!!
I'm not like them, but I can pretend...

Re: #6002
Agreed.. I would stare at it in every issue of towers magazine. I was tempted to buy the re-re Egress.. but it just doesnt do it for me.. its too space age looking and I am big Tamiya fan.... The Optima and Turbo Optima are stunning..fredswain wrote:I'd buy a Turbo Optima. I always wanted that car.Raman wrote:So who will join the re-release band wagon next... I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.
