Re: losi/trinity xxx
Nice to see the XXX being given some love - they don't seem to have the loyal following that its older brother the XX has & I must admit when I was somewhat dissapointed when I first got my 1st gen XXX it seemed to handle no better than the XX I had before - if anything, it was even more 'safe' to drive but less positive on the steering. That said still a great car & served Losi as its 2wd platform for nearly as long as the B4 has for Associated - I only retired my XXX based mid-motor car last year

Glad to be back in this hobby so many many years later. To see new things and to recollect on ALL cool vintage models!

Nice lookin buggy. Haven't seen those bumper sets installed before. Seen them in the package at one of my old LHS and they were there a long time. They pry got packed up with the rest of it when they shut the doors and moved but I'm liking the looks alot better on the buggy.
Photobucket.com is also a good place to store pics on the web and then all you got to do is click on the 'img. code' and put it in your post. Automatically resizes for forums for you. Looks like you got it figured out though but welcome to the board anyway

Re: losi/trinity xxx
i had some parts turn up last friday for my #2 shelf queen
and done some work on the buggy today .
had to do some . mod work . as the older trinity motor plate has only 2 holes in it for the older gear cover . so drilled and tapped the third hole to take the xxxcr gear cover . i did a ok job .
allso the rear inner camber links break the ball stud so i use a ball link end with a longer screw . not planing on racing this buggy but you never know so i got it ready as if i wanted to race it . allso put some weight in the front bulk head . 20grams .
shes about 95% new .
one day i will get the bodys painted up . and add the xxxcr stickers , cant wait .
i should get this finished this week . the bodys i leave until later .
enjoy the pics .
