So I freed up my stuck nitro engine. (OS Max CZ .12 i think) Noticed that the piston rod was very loose on the crankshaft and has A LOT of play. The bottom of the piston rod also hits the inside of the block. Should there be a bushing where there is...

The head doesnt look great but is probably OK, but man that thing must have been hot if the anodizing is that discolored.

But no, that piston doesn't look good. In the correct orientation how far up the liner can you push the piston?

Maybe that was indeed the problem. Definitely did not want to get a Bear in any way shape or form. I should consider my self lucky the night could have gone to a really strange place had I gotten what I ordered.

I picked up some old Tamiya stuff and cant seem to get the Tx hooking up with the Rx. Have tried a few variations. The one common is the same set of crystals.

Do they fail after some time?

Very old thread, I know, but I am new to the site and reading up on old stuff when I should be working :lol: Yes, crystals can go bad. A crystal is just a wafter that vibrates at the frequency indicated when electricity is applied. They don't expire...

Received a padded envelope from Amazon yesterday, I ordered a few batteries. Whomever packed it folded the adhesive sealing flap INTO the envelope, so it was wide open. Needless to say, it was also completely empty when it was stuck in my mailbox....

RC10GT/NTC3 fuel tanks gone forever!..only a dude in Australia have any left on Ebay, big money with shipping.
A year ago u could get them from Amain for $12.99.
bummer too...had to go with a Traxxas tank for my boat project

This. Was just confirming function of a truck I sold, just before packing it up..... wasn't working smoothly, then zzzzzzzzzz, spinning sound, and no drive.
