There's this one too, my second video I ever shot featuring my wife. Now, she's not a ripper, but that wasn't the point of the story we tried to tell. At 41 years old, I am just stoked that she still wants to do it. The point was enjoy YOUR ride as YOU define it, no matter of age or skill.

I had a VERY serious injruy two years ago..... that will forever be in my haed, so I've back off a bit from hucking crazy stuff. At 41, things don't bend or heal like they used too.

The video posted was excellent shows you don't have to go crazy to enjoy mountain biking.

I got back into it this year after a long hiatus, where I am in Wales we've got fantastic biking all within 30 miles. I live in the Welsh Valleys there is good riding less than a 30 minute climb away.

I took this picture on a recent ride of my mate and my old school enduro, it was taken less than 5 miles from my home.

Photography is one of those time consuming passions that can get in the way of other hobbies; we're in the middle of 'eagle season' here in the Midwest and when the rest of the world is inside racing Janice and I are freezing our BUTTS off!!!

AND, we keep learning - life lesson from last week??? Cameras/lens don't work well at ZERO and below!!

LOL. Make sure you thaw them out after being out in below freezin temps. Stick them in a sealed plastic bag until them reach room temp. Condensation can be a bad thing.

In your wife's vid at around 2:40, do you make shots like that by hand or do you have some sort of rig on rollers the camera is mounted to? They do some pretty cool time lapse shots like that at our shop when filming with a motorized belt driven rig that slides that camera while taking pics. It's such a cool effect.
