I have three older T4's from before the RT5 came out and a few top shafts with worn out gears on them that I saved for whatever reason, LOL...

Cool, thanks for the thread! You come through for me again Bob!! You the man! :)

That's what she says... still...

Looking back through that thread entirely, you can easily find the Losi parts if for some reason you cannot find the older B4 silver gear topshaft and/or the RPM topshaft.

Would the b4 slipper fit on the rpm top shaft. If not.. are you stuck with the original stealth (3gear) slipper?also by switching ti a b4 topshaft what the final drive ratio?

No a B4 slipper will not fit the RPM transmission. You have to use the old slipper.....

And you can't put a B4 top shaft in the RPM transmission either.... It just doesn't fit, the gear is too big... So the final drive ratio does not change....

BUT, what we are talking about is taking the old style B4 top shaft and pressing the gear off...

and taking the RPM top shaft and pressing the gear off...

and then pressing the RPM top shaft gear onto the B4 Top shaft....

THEN we can put it in the RPM transmission....

THEN we can use a B4 slipper.

Too bad places like HG aren't around anymore, that would be a cool conversion. Although with the RPM box being discontinued it wouldn't be viable. Seems like the "aftermarket" of today is nothing like it was.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !
