here is the body i own driven by wood racing with the plaque. (i added the 1995 champions stickers to the ft/rear windows) this body was used in the race also. the other 2 bodies were qualifing/test bodies as u can see from the damage plus they are not fully stickered.

How wide is the rear end with the wide pod?
I was thinking of picking up one of those wide bottom plates to do a Woods 235mm wide Pro10 car but was doubting I'd ever find the top plate. Figured I'd probably have to cut my own top so might as well do the bottom plate too.

Yup I know the auction. I was actually second highest bidder on the original auction lot where Valkyrie acquired those Wood parts.
There's a noticeable lack of old non-AE pan cars on here so it's nice to see a Wood Racing project. Just need a few more old Hyperdrive pan cars now.

Re: 1995 u.s oval national champions wood racing LOTS OF PIC
GOT THE CAR IN THE MAIL!!! got the car with the trophy and winning flag for the event. as u can see it has a one off custom quick change battery and what looks to be a one off metal front bottom a arms??? and custom rear steering for the rear pod. it has a peice of piano wire that allows the rear pod to move left and right so it handles better around the curves. from what i can read on the body looks like mike woods jr, tate mcdaniel, jay kimbrough and chuck baader(which might have made that custom rear steering pod since it has baader on it) signed the body cant really read the rest. the second car was a body used in the race (as seen in the first group of pics above) when i got the car, trophy and flag he included a extra car that was build just to use for fun based off a graphite rc10 chassis. so i stripped the chassis and used those parts on my woods racing x-13 chassis to build a clone to the winning race car since that parts were the same as the winning car. the last pics are of an extra woods chassis and parts i have. hope u all like.
