Re: yz10 pavidis shocks and wheels
If you want the original black wheels that came with the Pavidis, you'll have a difficult time finding them. They're out there - just hard to find and not inexpensive. I would suggest going to JC Racing and looking at their repro YZ10 wheels. They make dished, 5-spoke, and 6-spoke rims.

Good info. reinaldo. I'll keep looking. Kind of want to wait for the black wheels. We'll see.

Hi,
Does anyone know the difference between the original yokomo ys-2f or ys-2r shock springs on the yz10 pavidis vs some newer yokomo shock springs that have a ys-2f-2 part number?
Thanks,

Re: yz10 pavidis shocks and wheels
The original YS-2F and YS-2R spring set came in a set of 4 coloured springs (Black, Gold , Silver and Copper). The copper springs were the ones to use on the 1994 YZ10 and Pavidis models. They were tailor made for these models. I hardly ever saw (maybe except the UK) a Yokomo YZ10 without copper springs on it during the 90's.Does anyone know the difference between the original yokomo ys-2f or ys-2r shock springs on the yz10 pavidis vs some newer yokomo shock springs that have a ys-2f-2 part number?
I have not tried the newer YS-2F and YS-2R springs on my YZ10. I know they were made for the MX-4 model and come in only a greenish colour.
Are you building a shelf queen or are you planning on using your Yokomo Pavidis Edition?

I'm trying to put the finishing touches on a shelf queen. So, would love the originals. the AE shocks are easier to get, but those original springs seem a lot trickier.
