Yes, they are HPI. I got them quite a while ago, but I think they're still available. Fronts are the normal old Super Stars, and the rears are from that 4WD buggy they had a couple years ago (cyber 10b or something like that). You need to put a thick washer between the wheel and the nut, or else the nut bottoms out on the axle threads before the hex gets tight.

I finally got around to complete the build that was started by the previous owner.
This is all that was assembled when I got the kit:

Are any company actually making RC cars in America now? Not just have a corporate headquarters in America.

Don't take this the wrong way, I think a lot of the cars coming out of other country's are great, But with the current economy in runes in...

I'm wanting to do a boxart Optima shell, and thinking it would be a lot simpler if I could use a brush instead of sprays.

Do brush on paints not exist any more??

You can still find bottled Tamiya PC paints in some shops, but I've found multiple layers don't work so well; the top layer dissolves the lower layers while painting. :?

I put together an old stock motor beater for my kids to play around with. I let them paint over an old body I had, as you can see... :D After they get the hang of it, I have another all white parts gold pan to put together that will be much nicer to...
