This place will custom make a battery pack in different configurations, choice of wire gauge and choice of connector. Very reasonable price too.

Anybody got a bead on loose NiMh cells, hell, NiCd's for that matter.....? I'm thinking Dean's battery bars, some 12 ga, shrink wrap and sermos connectors. Right? Yeah. Need to keep the width to fit the battery cups though. Offset L tabs for...

i usually go for stickpacks with that has a clear shinkwraping so that you can se the invidual cells and just break em apart and solder up saddlepacks . as easy as eating pancake ...

Are there any commonly available packs that will fit a traditional rc10 with a manual speed controller?

I was looking a this it’s only 5 cells though.

I use 1800 nimh stick packs, remove the plastic end caps & re-shrinkwrap. They fit.

Is there anyone who reproduces shrink wrap to make a new nimh sub-c cell look like an old 2000 or 3300? I think it would be a neat idea. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I have some old peak and trinity cells I would be willing to scan if someone wants to attempt to print.

Happy to cut off the factory cover and scan flat - then using LRP or similar cells would be the go.

Clear pvc style shrink over the top would...

Hi guys,
I found one of these in my collection and I think it predates most of my stuff. Any idea of vintage and does anyone have one in better shape? I wouldnt mind making replicas. The cells are 1200SCR Sanyos.

Looks like the one I got w/ my first RC10CE ... I think that was circa 1991. Damn thing was a champ and worked well considering back then I had no clue how to take care of a battery.

With the meager intrest for this japanese aftermarket body for a Tamiya Boomerang, I decided not to wait for Tadracket or Mr. Lexan to start putting out shells.
So here it is: painted and ready to mount.

Thanks for the compliment, but the build is not ready yet.
When it's ready it will look quite different from a standard ultima under the hood also and I'll put up a separate tread for it.
About the paint:no worries, the body costed less than 8 euro.

Can anyone recommend a currently available LiPo battery that will fit nicely in the stock battery tray of an RC10 or a JRX-2?

I bought a cheap LiPo intended for the 1/16 Traxxas models, but, it's just too small for even the smallest 1/10 scale...
