can't find any 3/16 x3/8 flanged bearings
Looking to get some 3/16 x 3/8 flanged bearings. All I can find are unflanged. I'm rebuilding a rc10t runner, want to run new style t4 rims. I have 3/16 axels , stock rear carriers. need cvas or cvds? Thanks for any help Rich

I've never heard of a 3/8 x 3/16 flanged for an rc application. For a 3/16 axle in a truck you use an unflanged bearing. If your using buggy carriers you would want to swap for the correct truck pieces

If I use the unflanged bearings they just float in the carrier , am I using the wrong carrier? I have the stock rc10 carrier.

Re: can't find any 3/16 x3/8 flanged bearings
Stock truck carriers have a lip that keeps the bearing from falling thru. Buggies do not. I think you have buggy carriers.
Re: can't find any 3/16 x3/8 flanged bearings
I have both carriers, I see the lip on the sc10 carriers. With the sc10 carriers the out drives stick out 1/4 inch making my dog bone to short. did a search but I didn't see witch axel to use. I'm running a sc10 trans in a rc10 truck tub. Will try to post a picture of my trans conversion

I have no idea on the sc10 stuff, but if you have buggy carriers you can swap to truck carriers and they are a direct fit except the bearing flanges

which truck carriers will work? rc10 truck, rc10t2 rc10t3 rc10t4 ?

If your hub carriers are angular like these, you need flanged bearings:

If your hub carriers are round, you use regular bearings:

The original RC10 hub carriers were 1.5 degrees of toe-in per side, while the newer style carriers came in 0 degrees and 3 degrees per side.
