Got this email today from Tower. Must be shipping soon.

We anticipate a delivery in the very near future. This email is to remind you that you have this item on order and when these come in we will automatically charge the payment method you provided. Our goal is to give you advanced notice of the upcoming charge and shipment, if you get excited about the product arriving, well, that's just a bonus!

Ditto, same email from Tower today. I also am very surprised they're available overseas first, what the hell...

How did the supply channels for the kit work I wonder, if some pieces were made in the US are they manufactured here and then shipped to China to join with the rest of the made in China parts and get boxed up (and then back across the globe to the US for sale in hobby shops here)?
