Yeah this is really a great buggy. I love the asymmetric chassis.

I want to restore mine to be a runner... I stopped looking for AYK parts to put my money on RC10 but now I think I start again. I just love them...

The only thing I don't really like is the shocks, they look good but don't perform so well. I'll have to find something better but in the same size (metric). I also want to mount mdern wheels and tires.

Enjoy yours... Is this going to be a shelfer?

I just found out there was a company making aftermarket stuff for AYK.
The name is hot box, and they had replacement shocks. These shocks are now for sale on the Yahoo japan auction site.

What diameters (mm) are the ball-shaped end of the dogbone and drivepin?

Well I just went to Yahoo Japan and I can't even do a search... Not that I would buy your shocks... I'm just curious.

If they were mine, i wouldn't make you go through all that trouble ;)

and enter hot box in the top left field.

These folks will gladly help with international shipping and bidding: http://www.rinkya.com/

How abotut the dogbone sizes? I just bought a pair of universals which don't fit in the cups of my none-ayk's... maybe they can help you fit modern wheels
