I'd like to think I'm motivated, I just lack the time. At least I got one build done this year (Pro Radiant). At this rate, I should be done with all my RC plans in only 20 years! :D

I put almost 2 hours in last night, but nobody here wants to be bored by details and pictures of me painstakingly scoring liquid mask with an X-Acto knife. Zzzzzz.....

My RC enthusiasm dropped off the radar about 6 months ago, about the same time I split up with my girlfriend. (and its the summer so i was mostly getting drunk).

I haven't had much energy for anything hobby related. I have to move from a house with a garage to an overpriced apartment with no storage. I've had to thin my collection and even the cars I said i'd never get rid of are starting to call out to me to be sold. Its so sad. I have a Villian boat that needs motors and electronics, two vintage sail planes that need monokote and new radios, and about 4-5 project RC10's that need me to buy parts for. Money and time is effectively gone...

I lost my motivation/intrust about this time last year when our local track was closed out from under me and I was one of the original six that started it and still got kicked in the privets after 10 years!

My oldest son just moved into his own place and the youngest started high school today with him playing football then hockey plus work and the never ending honey do list I just dont have any time. So when time permits ill be selling off most of my modern and vintage cars and parts, No Im not going away I just don't think I need to hoard them to my self.

Motivation, yes. Focus, no. I have half a dozen cars in pieces in plastic bins (and another on the way that probably will meet the same fate for a while). I get something, drive it a bit, then tear it down, and lose focus and go look for something else. It's like workshop ADD.

Yeah I have some piles of parts ready for builds but once I post the details and kick it off, there is so much pressure to keep the eyeballs on this site updated! :o
