Hello everyone,

I'm new too the forums, been reading quite a bit for the past week or so since I joined, figured I best catch up on this some before I ask stupid questions that have all ready been dong 100x's.

So its been about 17 years since I've raced, and for some reason something kinda pulled me back into it, so I got her out of the closet, looked up some new electronics, and that's kind of what I've been doing for the time being. There are a couple things about my car that I forget, its a RC10, but has an different chassis and front A-Arm's / suspension. As you can see the motor mount is rotated for more of a mid-motor setup. It was an awesome car back in the day, and hopefully she can shine sometime in the future.

Anyone remember who made the kit for this? For the life of me I forget....

Thank you!

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Here's one, I just bought this but I'm not quite sure what it is. At first I though it was a hirobo satellite but I can't find any pictures of any that look like this maybe it's an early model???

I found out what it is, it's an American rc mantis. From what I've read it was made in the late 70 - early 80's. the early versions had wood chassis panels and a fixed pitch head, whereas the later had composite side panels and a collective pitch head copied from the heliboy head. Not bad IMO for a $25 Craigslist find.

I got a lot of three cars from ebay and this motor was part of it. It looks new. Anyone ever heard of it? Know ant details?

The MC-2 logo in the bottom corner makes me think it's from MaxCell...I think that's what the name of the company was. They were well known for their matched batteries. I don't remember ever seeing anything about motors in their magazine ads though.

It's a Trinity but not sure of the model. Maybe a later version of the EV10 seeing as it's using molded upper arms instead of turnbuckle links.
