Re: DONATION TIME 8 YR OLD BOYs project gift Rustler!UPDATE
DID find slipper eliminater but hesitant to use on the boys car scared eat up the gears with forward and reverse slamming .Did find extra spurgear with new truck so got that. still needing the bearings and rear hubcarriers and front uprights. Will get the part numbers in a sec. don
Re: DONATION TIME 8 YR OLD BOYs project gift Rustler!UPDATE
That can't be right. I thought the gearbox used 6 5x11bearings and the 5x8s in the wheels.
The 5x8s are famed for exploding. If you want, I can add a set of 5x11 hubs to my donation.

Keep that slipper eliminator for your parts . Got the hex clutch assy sitting here for you. Should have rear hubcarriers and front uprights also. Just need to figure out what 85edinger is sending so I don't have to keep looking and get these sent out to you...THUNDERSTRIKE1 wrote:DID find slipper eliminater but hesitant to use on the boys car scared eat up the gears with forward and reverse slamming .Did find extra spurgear with new truck so got that. still needing the bearings and rear hubcarriers and front uprights. Will get the part numbers in a sec. don

I DONT HAVE ANY INFO cept what i put on this thread.Im going by the original manual parts number and bearing sizes. These big bearings came out grasshopper rearend and some i had in rc10truck conversion wheels on the shelf. Some parts ive had for years and some stuff swapped from my own cars to hurry up and get this completed.lol Dang part numbers are so small and lightly printed hard to tell what it says.Need new glasses bad.don

Re: DONATION TIME 8 YR OLD BOYs project gift Rustler!UPDATE
got:
-a set of rear carriers and bearings (5x11)
-a set of ft/rr 2.2 wheels if you still need them
-hex clutch assy
maybe have front uprights but don't have anything to compare them too. Pry have the rest of what you need also except the front upper support. Will keep digging and check your list again...

Re: DONATION TIME 8 YR OLD BOYs project gift Rustler!UPDATE
How about you send the wheels, slipper clutch, and rear hub carriers while I send caster blocks, front bumper, 2 front 5x11 hubs with bearings, axles, and hexes, and a complete turnbuckle set including 4 camber links and 2 toe links.
One of my front hub carriers is broken, though.
I can also throw in pretty much any hinge pin or screw that might be needed.
