Thanks guys, this one has taken me a while. I might get around to finishing some other projects now

Around the time of the XL (87) Demon had moved away from being an ESC manufacturer, actually, they were more of a retailer by then. I think the only thing Nick actually still made around that time was motors, and I used plenty of them.

Talking about Demon ("Demon Power Products" these days) I still use them for most of my RC purchases. It's still run by Nick, and he's a top bloke who knows a lot about RC. It's one of only a few RC retailers left in the UK that's totally geared towards racers.

I actually just had an e-mail chat with 'Uncle' Nick the past couple of weeks.
He was telling me he still had his original RC-10 that he raced back in about 86.
Loved those old prismatic decals !!

Hi Paul,
Any chance you could post a scan of that paperwork for the rear widening kit? I understand the kit also lowered the top suspension mounts, which seems to have been ignored on the subsequent XLS.

Cheers,
Iain

Here's a pic of the paperwork. Very basic instructions, what Schumacher instructions weren't basic back then
