Early TQ10/RC10 World's Car runner restore

I really like the classic design on that body. That great looking buggy deserves some new wheels and tires though!

Put the wide arms on the front end, bleeder caps, and JC wheels, modern tires. Had it at the track, tons of fun!



Went to check out a Stealth transmission for my project today and ended up taking the whole roller home with me. I see what people mean by these projects becoming addicting. Is this a nice one?

Um, yeah it's desirable. That's a worlds car, the last buggy. Milled chassis, different towers and steering, and missing the battery brace which was an improvement.

Keep it as is. Don't use it for parts

Neat little buggy. I like the one's that transform from near trash to full runner.

I have steering linkage recommendations: With short arms, I like to use the heim ball ends for the steering linkage too. The shorter arms mean a shorter lever length, and the ball cups will pop pretty easy, especially the AE ones. New RPM or other heavy duty ball cups will be better, if you go that route.

Al, the TQ10 did get the long arms, but will be going back to short arm since i found this worlds car! I'll certainly take your advice.

marlo, I wasn't sure what kind of car the local track owner had for sale, I asked "do you have an OG Stealth transmission, by chance,?" His response was "I have a partial roller at home, you have to take it all." He brought it in for me the next day, and it was hard to contain my excitement and keep a poker face while i criminally underpaid for the World's Car. Once I saw it was a World's, it no longer became a "parts car", but my new runner project!

I guess no one noticed the "wink" emoticon when I asked "is this a good one?"
