Possible taboo body question.

Post by NCOHOG »

From some of the posts I have read,I noticed some guys don't like the current trend of the cab forward buggy bodies. I myself think they are kind of cool looking. So my question is does anyone know of a cab forward body that works with the original tub chassis? If not maybe someone will jump on the opportunity with the rere coming out.

Thanks,

They're already butt ugly, so hacking one up to fit on an old rc10 isn't gonna make them look any worse.

one that fits a B44 would probably cover the chassis pretty well.

I have no issue with the cab forward bodies on the current cars. Its not like the car itself is a scale replica of anything anyway, and I think some of them (the finnisher, for example) even look pretty good.

I can't imagine seeing one on an original RC10 though. Maybe I'm just too used to seeing the more traditional body styles on them. Short of modifying the car to fit the body, I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving it a try. It might even look good, and if it doesn't, all I have to do is keep scrolling down the page.

<---just got a FTW night fox for the b4.

but i think they would look really funny on an rc10. maybe an O.I.N., but a stock front end is way too wide for the narrow noses of today's bodies, regardless if it's cab foward or not.

I just tried my B44.1 Finnisher and Punisher on my gold pan. The pan is too wide, good thing is no cab forward for the classic!
