Re: OPEN losi xx4 discussion
I havent tryed this set up with the CAT arms yet so not sure on geometry but my last front end was getting some major bump steer and was a handfull through the rythm section,I think it had the wrong hub carriers.I found my XX4 to be super durable,I finished the whole meet without any problems yet I have owned BJ4s and B44s that broke even on a roll over so I couldnt finish a heat never mind a meeeting.Very happy with my XX4.

Re: OPEN losi xx4 discussion
Right on.
I've only ever broken front shock towers in my XX4.
Tough cars.
I started with a XX4,went to a Yokomo MR4-BX,to a B44 and now I find myself running a XX4,again.
The lack of a front one way in the B44 is a bummer,I love the udjustable 'clicker' in the XX4s.
I don't think any other car has an udjustable one way like that.![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

They dont change the geometry as they are the exact same dimensions.FasterLouder wrote:More durable than the Losi Graphite jobs?
How does it effect the suspension geometry?

Find yourself a front one-way differential for the TC3

Yeah,I've thought about that...Wasn't sure if it was a 100% drop in fit,but it must be,huh?
I had a nitro TC3 last year that I rebuilt, man that car was fast and fun.
I miss it![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Gears out-drives and some other parts are a carryover from the TC3 I believe.

Re: OPEN losi xx4 discussion
Wow done alot of work lately and have most my mods done.
-rear trinity pivot block
-machined up some aluminum wing mounts
-b2 front brace mod
-front/rear CF shock tower sandwich
- x-factory steering kit.
side note: I found some more clearance installing b2 front brace if I ground off some of the "ear" on bottom, where e-clip goes.

Nice one,man.
That'll be quite the weapon you've got there, now!
Anyone know how close to the Losi original the BlueGroove Class 8 Heavy Metal bodies are?
My 2nd XX4 has the mounts already there...I have a decal sheet stashed, too.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

To be more specific you need a4218 and a4228.FasterLouder wrote:They're Street Weapon mounts, pretty easy to find.
Also, I know a guy who has the instructions for the a4227 Heavy Metal body mounting kit on his web site.
