Wow, forgot about this thread... but here's an image of the touring car mentioned in the thread above. Seems lay-down shocks were Tigermoth's trademark.

I used to have some dealings with Tigermoth as I imported a few of the kits into Australia and resold them, and ran a couple of the cars myself. The LCGV10 was/is a decent touring car....handled on rails (even outdoors on asphalt, which is the predominant type of on-road track in Australia) although it had a few niggles...unfortunately the demand for them wasn't great. Shame as I believe with some development to sort the minor issues the car would have been the equal of any others in it's day.
Re: the B3 with lay down shocks...I believe it was only ever prototyped. I enquired with Chris at Tigermoth who mentioned he might consider producing me a conversion kit at some time in the future, but at that stage was focused on other commitments. Unfortunately I never got to owning one of these bad boys and to the best of my knowledge they were never offered for public sale.
I had a chance to dig out some boxes of goodies over at Barry Raborn's house last night. Barry was the owner of both Bullet and Raborn Racing products. I took a few pictures but they aren't the greatest since they are from a cell phone. Anyways,...

That truck is sitting at Barry's house now. It wouldn't do all that well on a touring track. The motor is offset left and up high. It is really intended to be only a dirt car. I have drastically updated it to bring it up to modern levels. Barry even...
dont know if you guys have seen this but looks great for keeping in pratice over the winter .. if we could get enough members on there we could even race with our own controlers :D

Must be that time to run something new, Ruffy's thread inspired me.
I too am heading racing with my T4.1 for the first time in a long long time this weekend. It is pretty much out of the box RTR but will have a selection of tires. Last time I...

On the local club scene I can hold my own. When I get around Jharris and his crew, I look like a fool. I never get as much practice as I would like when I have traveled so lap times on new tracks are not great. Locally I am toward the top of the...
So now that I've got the RC10 running, I want to race it or at least take it on a track.
Any chance for arranging some racing somewhere in North Texas? Or at least a track? It seems like the one that was in my area is closed.

Ahh, oops.
I was thinking of Mike's Hobby Superstore. :D
Wild Bill's is still in biz. I'll check that out. The Indy RC one looks epic! You can bet I'm gonna be there someday soon!
I know there's not a whole lot on here about GT's, but here's my tub GT. I'm going to be racing this truck, so the suspension has been updated with most of the newer GT's suspension arms and shock towers. It doesn't have the wide front axles yet or...

Justin you're right, when I pulled the trans apart it had no shims on the top shaft at all. I rebuilt it with all new parts except for the bearings (I cleaned those) and outdrives, I shimmed it when i put it back together with a new trans case. That...
Has anyone ordered from Windtunnel Racing? There site looks a bit untended to. Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them. Thanks.
