Pretty funny giving an offroad guy a set up board  Gongrats though on the achivement, that track looks fantastic!! I raced the original B44 and it was pretty dialed out of the box. I liked the fact you could drive it fast but then take it to mental mode when need be, and it just got faster. I won the winter series with it also, but big power was hard on it and required more maintenance. It was a fun class but I enjoy the finesse of 2wd stadium trucks the most.

Sadly I think stadium trucks are going the way side like 235 pan cars and similar to 2wd buggies that almost died off before a resurgence.

Anyways... Enjoy the Durango Kaiser :D

No major change for me either, (but I did get a smoking deal on a B4.1 with all the 4.2 upgrades, so buggy class is on) though with my schedule, I wont be able to do any racing in the near future.

For those out there considering a facelift for the 44 or 44.1, Team Azarashi released a conversion for the aforementioned kits that I want to get my hands on. ( I'm trying Bill) (see Clinehobbies if interested, he's the US importer for Azarashi).

I can't wait, should make for a fun chassis. A bit unconventional, but i like being different at the track!

Looks cool. I've been following this conversion and the one coming from Avid. I really wanted a new B44.2 but instead I've been slowly updating my .1 to .2 specs. I added the 12mm shocks, .2 towers, front arms and Avid slipper. A longer chassis would be nice to try.

That is pretty cool. I like different! Might happen since Bill is a mile from my house. :)

The new Avid +8 B44.1/2 chassis is now available. Since I'm making the switch from dirt indoor to carpet outdoor for the summer I might try it, the extra weight/length should help on the rug.

i just couldn't do it. the local 1/10 4wd guys are insane. i never raced it or painted it.
i sold it and bought a new 2wd for the summer season.

the durango also had some issues and i didn't want to spend alot of $$ on a car that i wasn't enthusiastic about.

Seeing as others have added opinions I'll chip in. I respect 4WD race cars a lot. They will always be the fastest machines out there.
But having been there and done that in 1/10 and 1/8, I do not wish to own a 4WD car right now. They have a few downsides for me...

1. Maintainence is way more time consuming
2. Spares cost more as they are twice as complex
3. They are too easy to drive and so not as much fun or challenge
4. You cannot do things like power the back end out, donuts, silly things
