Nice score on that 6010! You get to build a new one (well, at least some of it) without the guilt of cutting the seal.
This is what was waiting for me when I got home from work...

Tires! Been looking for a set of A7500's for a bit, and they pop up on eBay. Imagine that! Lol!
Still undecided on the vintage Imex rims

Nothing vintage, 4 Losi 22 wheels, and 4 Schumacher tyres.

New springs for the 8th scale beast, plus DE Racing Borrego wheels that have the cool (to me at least) bead lock detail on the edges to mount up some dirt driving tires. I glued the yellow ones onto the tires I had last night, see pic.
Also in the mail yesterday, I purchased an identical black set of DE wheels for some tarmac bashing tires (still to be purchased).

Some great stuff - good to hear someone striking 'Gold' (Pan) with one heck of a deal on that new-un-built 6010 kit that is going to appreciate it for what it is rather than parting it out for profit
@ Gomachv - your JRXT is looking lovely, is there a body to finish it off?
My recent 'score' isn't R/C but another type of electric racing 'toy' from my childhood, which some of you might appreciate?
Uk manufactured slot-car set by 'Scalextric' - the 24hr 'Le Mans' set was the biggest set in the 82' catalogue which also featured the V8 Rover 3500 set that I got for Christmas that year

Yes, but just a repop. It's on the way to me and will be almost the last piece. I need to find a couple .9 shock bodies for the front- it's hard to see in the pic but they are terrible! The rear shocks are brand new.DerbyDan wrote: @ Gomachv - your JRXT is looking lovely, is there a body to finish it off?
The 6010 is finished, and is sporting a nib magnum junior with S-28 servos. Pics later on

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Finally got the stainless-steel screw set for my Optima project. Bearings and pinion gear arrived Saturday. So that's two packages down, two to go for this project. Now just waiting on a repop body and tires, and some parts for the second chassis. But at least I can start building one chassis, as soon as I get the aluminum parts cleaned up...
