There sure is.biff85ta wrote:Is there not a T in there anywhere?LTO_Dave wrote: Mitsu 4G63

My brother currently has 2 good 1G turbo blocks and two good 6-bolt cranks, so it'll be a lot cheaper to build a 2.0L than trying to build a 2.3L stroker or de-stroked 2.1L.
I'm gonna do it right the first time even if it takes a few years instead of buying cheap parts.

That is definitely the way to build a boosted motor.LTO_Dave wrote:There sure is.biff85ta wrote:Is there not a T in there anywhere?LTO_Dave wrote: Mitsu 4G63I have an EVO III big 16G turbo from my previous '90 Talon TSi that I'll probably use at first until I can afford something bigger like a GT3076 or a PT6262. I'm building the motor to support a bigger turbo and higher boost even though I won't have the turbo to match just yet.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I'll be making a build thread tomorrow. I still have to upload some pictures I took to my computer. I spent around 4 hours the other night trying to disassemble it all. I say trying to as a lot of the screws are seized due to galling it seems like. I ended up stripping the heads of the small button head screws in a vain attempt to break them free. I'll have to carefully Dremel notches in them to use a straight screwdriver.longboardnj wrote: very cool .. if you make any more post/pics/vids about this truck (or any other pull post on this site)please let me know.like you im a big fan of how pull rcs are made but even a bigger fan of old school pull kits. i had a max traxx wedge that i sold years ago that i wish i still had..
The two previous pullers I've owned weren't that great. One used a Midnight Pumpkin / Lunch Box rear, and the other was made from piano wire and used a Power Wheels gearbox. This is the first real one I've owned and I've learned a lot so far. It will be interesting for sure.
