Bought around summer last year as you see it and it's time to get stuck in with it Not yet taken it to bits but first impressions seem good. Needs a new shell, hopefully I'll be able to find the correct wheels and the correct dampers have already been purchased for it. This will become another vintage runner so I wont go all out making it beautiful but the aim is to have a nice clean runner.
It looks pretty nice. I had one of those as my first attempt at running buggy class. I wound up selling after just a short time, I preferred my 10T. It's one of only two of my cars that I ever sold. I'll buy another some day.

Just the opposite for me but I had a gold RC10 then got a JRX2.

Life is short. Waste it wisely.
Well, just got it out of storage and it looks worse than I remember with thick rust on anything metal and certainly a hell of a lot dirtier than I remember. It also appears getting hold of the correct style shell and wheels will be harder than I imagined as I think they differ from the standard JRX2.
So I have a couple of options. Sink a load of time and money into this one or look out for a better one. I'll keep you all posted.
Sometimes it's better to hold out for a better one but the parts are out there so you just need to keep looking and be patient. I received two JRX-2's in a trade a few years ago along with some spares and it was only after taking them both apart and cleaning everything up that I realised that things weren't as bad as I first thought.
I ended up with an nearly new looking JRX-2 and what would have been a runner but I sold them on eBay a couple of years ago much to my regret now.
~I'm a lot older now than I was then and wish that I knew then what I know now~
Are ya gonna run old school electronics? Or go with a newer setup? Lipo? I personally have an old lxt with and airtronics xl2p radio.. charged some 3600's and the truck started glitching really bad..
Looks like it's a converted x2 into a JRX Proformananance kit. The JRX-Pro had different battery box, rear hub carriers, wheels and bellcranks, plus different cut lines on the shell-
Just sharing some pics of an old losi I had in storage for many years. Just trying to restore it to a reasonable condition. Cleaned her up and added some nip wheels and tyres. Need to get some new turnbuckles/ball cups and new nuts etc....

Stormer Hobbies also carries the MRC academy parts.
I've passed over my JRX Pro to my nephew as its the only car I could bare to let him drive since he drove my MR4BC into a wall and broke the bulkhead cover and shock tower. I was looking to get some help on two points
1. What direct fit...

Cheers Guys/Darryn
The Evader wheels might be cool also as I find the chassis on the JRX Pro quite long so the larger wheels would be easier to use and obviously more available. Thanks again guys.
Nothing to see here but me showing off my new shelfer with full functioning period electrics. The pushed battery is no more but sure is pretty. It's probably 94.3% new parts. Final pic is with my new built in 1989 never run X2. Book ends of the...

I've always avoided them as I really think an X2 needs 5 link to be a an X2. But I am getting soft in my old age.
Just got this and am very pleased with it, so naturally I wanted to share. Despite some servo tape and minor dirt, its in very good condition. As I am still getting up to speed on everything vintage Losi, there are some aspects of this car that I am...

Thanks and welcome to the forum! You won't find a better source of RC information anywhere else. Even for these old Losi Jrx2s!
Hey all, heres a shelf model / light street runner JRX2 that I'm working on here and there. Finally took some new pics, almost done with the build. I still have a few things left... to build a motor, drop a Tekin ESC, lower the ride, and swap the...

That's a sharp JRX2. Love the old 5 link cars. Nice job on the paint.
Sorry for all the pic posts guys. But it's fun to show the community what I have since my wife has no interest in any of this nonsense! It was a nice November day, so I broke out my DSLR and took a few snaps. Thanks.
So I recently got this Losi buggy that I am fixing up and it says JRX2 on the front of it in the plastic molding but it does not have the weird rear suspension arms of a JRX2. It guess it is pretty JRX Pro like but it does not have the big socks up...

That poor motor is overgeared like crazy, good thing it has that heat sink
It ran really good! I went hard for like 5 min straight on a baseball field before it started to get hot. It went 33 mph on pavement which was quicker than I...
I'm after some direction for my JRX build. A while back, I purchased an Ebay JRX Pro with the idea of restoring it to run at this year's Vintage Festival. After receiving the car, I noticed a lot of...
