Re: Yokomo MX4 restoration
oh, and the front gearbox top cover is a pain to get also.
There's some tiny screw you have to drill a hole for and put in, or the shocktower mount points 'll break easily... And apparently lots of people have overlooked that in the manual

Re: Yokomo MX4 restoration
i could see why you got it mixed up. when the mr4bc came out there were some that were fitting on newer parts from the bc onto the older mx4.

Re: Yokomo MX4 restoration
Has anyone done a parts interchange yet for the MR4BC and MX-4, YZ's, etc..? It would be very handy for a chump like myself.

I've fortunately got enough parts for another runner build and spares. But it is becoming difficult to find certain bits such as the main chassis.

I have no idea. It's a Tekin G12c. I'm going to continue to run the same electronics unless I have some sort of an issue. Even then, I have spares. I like that Novak rec. because it is compact. and light.

Re: Yokomo MX4 restoration
Actually it was the Tekin m-star, not the one you have. The m-star was the esc Masami used to win the 1997 IFMAR championships. Looked like the Tekin g-9.
Anyway, nice electrics!!
