How different is the Kyosho Ultimate Damper to the Equalizer damper?

The Ultimate dampers were similar to coated versions of gold shocks, with smooth bodies and clip on ride height adjusters. The Equaliser dampers have a threaded shock body with screw spring adjusters. With metal adjusters on metal shock bodies to stop the adjusters moving on the Equalisers Kyosho included some ptfe thread tape in the package.

Equaliser shocks are almost identical in design to the Now used blue velvet shocks. Very nice building them, but never used them, but Ellis did and won the Euros with them.
