Yes does anybody know the size of the small allen bolts on the white gears? All my allens are to big. Tried the hard ware store,nothing that small. Any links to buying one would be appericated. Thanks

I'm using a GT trans in my car due to its lay down style. Looking to lower ratio to 2.25 if possible. Will the buggy gears fit the case of the GT trans or is the spacing all wrong?

New question, is the top shaft gear a press fit gear or is it all one piece? One side looks solid the other looks like 2pc
i have a losi junior2 with a 2.19 trans and a 2 speed (i think) heres a pic.. the gear in the pic is on a 1 way bearing and the end piece is held on with a set screw the dark line in it is a single spring loaded arm kinda like a gas engine clutch...

My local dealer has 77 bandit TA I really want. It Has 60k Oringinal miles near perfect condition. 400 big block with 4 speed. For 21k I offered him 18k he said no way! I really dont want to be in it at 21k but at the same time I dont want to pass...
One of the fast guys at my local dirt oval says removing a set of gears from the dif improves speed, What say you??

yeah, it would possibly be more efficient if the diff assembly is stable with just two planet gears instead of 4. less chance for gear mesh to create friction, but a too loose diff is also an opportunity to lose traction. one wheel peel.
