Opening Novak Duster 2 sport ESC

Post by AndrewSi »

Are there any tricks to opening the case to this ESC? When I shake it, I can hear dirt or sand inside so I would like to take it apart and clean it.

There are no screws, it's like the two halfs snap together and I don't know where to squeeze or pull lol.

Whatever you do, be careful!
I had the same issue with an LRP IPC. I ended up snapping some of the little internal clips, so now it no longer holds itself together unless I wrap tape around it

I'd try pressing in around the edge on the top-side of the case. My LRP had the "male" ends of the clips on the top, and the "female" on the bottom.
Not saying Novak is the same, but it's a place to start!
