Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I was going to guess Trackmaster due to the mounting and shape of the sides, but I don't remember one in black and I don't remember a slipper either. Hmmm
Actually now that I really zoom in it looks like there is no slipper...but why is there a drive ring?

Trackmaster transmissions came in graphite and aluminum versions and there were slippers you could get to put on them. I believe Team Pit Stop, Bullet Racing, and A&L made them.gomachv wrote:I was going to guess Trackmaster due to the mounting and shape of the sides, but I don't remember one in black and I don't remember a slipper either. Indeed this is Villain IFS frontend. Beside shocks and shocktower there are missing complete anti rollbar with linkage and downstops.gomachv wrote:I had a 1/10 Delta on road car once and I'd swear that was the front end. Your missing shocks and the shock tower/bulkhead

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Got the chassis yesterday and it does look custom. The holes aren't countersunk very neatly or at the same angle as the Associated 8-32 screws...looks like a standard #8 countersink. The trailing arm and front 5 holes aren't countersunk at all.scr8p wrote:i have a chassis almost exactly like that that i got from nick deangelis years back. same basic shape, but it was custom made.
Looks like I'll need to drill a new hole between the forward bellcrank screw holes and trim the back of a RC10 kick-up to mount it on the chassis.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Can I get a confirmation on this as a Parma diff? It's a hollow axle and the hubs fit 1/10 wheels offset and hubs are much different than my 1/10 Parma panthers. Wheels are obviously 1/12 but with a 1/10 pattern
It came off an oddity- mrp rear, 12e front, and this axle. Well made handmade chassis, I had to trace it and flip it over to verify it wasn't perfect! Lol

Euro Panther? The wheels are...the hubs look the same too. The axle is not the same, my Euro Panther has a graphite axle.gomachv wrote:Can I get a confirmation on this as a Parma diff? Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Anyone recognize these tires?
Pattern looks like an old IMEX tire but there doesn't appear to be any branding on the sides like an IMEX tire would have. They're mounted on 1.6" wheels.
