B3 Diff build question

Post by vwlvr1980 »

Im putting together a factory team b3 kit that i got in a trade. I was putting the diff together and had a question before i proceed. Does #6575 the long screw go through that plastic washer with the ears or does that sit on the outside of the screw? Just dont want to have to pull it apart so i stopped until i get the correct anwser. Thanks in adavnce and love this forum.....everybody is so helpful!!

It is shown correctly, it goes into the out drive after the screw as kind of a plug

Ok thats what i did but what stops it from falling out? Thats what made me think that screw would go through it to hold it into place.

That washer on the far left is on the outside. It presses in behind the screw with the ears riding in the outdrive cutouts.

The CVD in the drive cup keeps it from falling out-
