NIP parts were calling to me, let's build!

Post by flipwils11 »

I don't know what to call this build, but I couldn't resist the urge any longer! I knew I had this chassis and nose, as well as some nice nip parts that I felt like using. The RPM low profile rear hubs are a bit odd, I admit, but what the heck.

I used the internals from this Stealth trans to complete the RPM trans and top shaft I had sitting.

Mismatched black and gold chassis, nose, and motor plates.

Nice parts built and sold by rc10talk members:

Other fresh NIP or new but unused stuff:

Ended up not using the rpm center link.

I never liked mixed match anodized parts but it does look good on this build.

Never thought of a black and gold combo like that, but it looks great together. 8)

This is attractive. Black and gold go well together. I have to ask: Who made those beautiful gold anodized custom parts?

I know how you feel. Sometimes my parts talk to me too. I just yell back "SHUT UP! YOU'RE NOT MY BOSS!" Building them is a good idea too though. Straight up Star Wars. 8)
