2012 6 hour Vintage enduro - Castle Hill, Australia

Hey everyone

I’ve been checking out all the threads of the get-togethers etc so I thought I would create one about a vintage event we have coming up this Sunday the 21st at the Castle Hill track in Sydney, Australia

Its our annual vintage enduro, this year its 6 hours long!! The rules are pretty simple, 2wd only, 3 or 4 drivers per team, someone from the team must be marshalling at all times, control 540 handout motors are given out on the morning of the race. Our vintage rules here are based on pre Jan 1991 vehicles are eligible. We have a good mix of cars entered so far, 1 RC10, 2 losi jrx pros, 1 tamiya astute and 1 tamiya madcap and we’re hopeful a couple more late entries will pop in. The racing in these events is great, with the cars all using the 540 motor and geared down to last, so the speeds all end up very close

Hey Delorean - thanks for starting this up - I was about to start one when I noticed this one.

I normally post up a TONNE of pics - so any more taking them will be more than welcome to post up - great to have all the shots in one thread.

Really looking forward to the event as always - organising them is becoming a little easier as people are pretty comfortable with our rules/guidelines now.
