I did drive 50 miles for a basically unseen batch of rc cars. The only car I could ID from the crappy craigslist pic was the gold pan RC10, I couldnt tell what the others were in the other pics but for the price, it really didnt matter. What I found when I got there was a great stealth gold pan RC10, a Kyosho Triumph, a gas powered traxxas, an associated T3, and 2 mini losi T's, and 5 radios. All in need of repair, but still an awesome deal!

[quote="GAMMACRUSH"]They know that blurry pics inspire us to drive 50+ miles to see it in person! One might see an add and say "Is that an rc10 Worlds car milled chassis, or is that just strips of servo tape residue? Hmm... better go check this out".

Saved the best for last!!! Notice the hairy, tatoo'd leg with painted big toe used to show scale for the "vintage" allen wrench set. I was unaware the allen wrench had a collectors market!

I always like the no spammers/scammers line on these. As if a one somewhere is going "Dang-it!"

Halgar is exactly right! selling stuff on craigslist is an absolute pain. I've yet to try to sell smaller items but bigger items, specifically vehicles, really gets people crawling out of the ugliest crevices in town asking about partial trades for a pool table, boat or above ground swimming pools. I've had pretty good luck buying though.

This guy has been trying to unload this gem for over a month now. I almost want to buy it just to save it from him; if it's still there in a couple weeks when I have cash, I probably will. Aside from the terrible things he's done to it, and his complete lack of knowledge about it, it looks like a decent old RC10:

I love how he rebodies it as a stampede,ATV, and anything else he can find. Then he monkeys with the price. I agree though, its a decent looking car

I get a kick out of Icarus dude too. When he gets down to $25 I'm all over it

I think he's just trying to show the mighty traction of those New Bright (or whatever) rear tires...
