RC12i 3016 Weightsaver
Picked this one up recently, loved the body and I didn't have any of this version, so here we go....
Came with box and all paperwork, manual is pristine! Never seen a seller take such great care in shipping.
But.....he painted the chassis and parts.
And ran outdoor....
So I stripped the paint, chassis was too far gone so I routered out new plates.....and here it is...
Not sure why he didn't just use the wing mount tubes to mount the body but instead he had a piece of plastic formed into a "T" and it was a bit flexy for my tastes. So....made a G10 "T" and used double side tape to affix
I needed the white servo saver for another project so the black one is installed until I find another.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: RC12i 3016 Lightweight
I was very surprised that nobody else bid. The seller was a real cool guy, I sent him a thank you for the nice packing job and he sent me a novel back lol.
After stripping the paint that chassis was pretty destroyed- but now I have a LW chassis and tray template
