Each car has it’s own text (in Norwegian…). To keep a text ok to read, the number of words has to be kept fairly low. Depending on the cars role or character I have therefore put different emphasize on themes as history, technicalities, joy, aesthetics, rarity, competition results and so forth. In addition there are some cards on special themes, and the boards and posters. Thanks for looking!

Hi there! Jason spotted his Topcat, unfortunately that is not mine. On the other side the CAT is in my possession! Thanks, very nice car. Did you do the painting? Going to keep this very nice BITD scheme, some work left on the car to make it the way I want it. As you can see the colored rear shocks are cleaned (blue and yellow I think). Except for the fact that they are the color of the Swedish flag, what was the reason for the paint job on the shocks - keep track of left and right of the car?

That car was built and painted by one of my club mates at Väst-8 Gothenburg. He runs it a few times indoor and once outdoor, and it wasn’t paint on the shocks, it’s the residues’ from balloons. He sold that car to me in 91 (he needed the money) and I just put it away. So you are the third owner.

Thank you for the history info on this car. When I cleaned the shocks it just seemed like paint or something, had to remove it with acetone. Probably what degraded balloons and oil look like after twenty years...
Good news - the interest for vintage RC cars seems to be better than the museum ever expected. The host of the exhibition, Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology, have now asked to prolong the exhibit! It was going to be taken down by the end of this month, now they have have changed their mind and will have it "for a few more months". I am going to give back some cars I've borrowed, rearrange, and put some more of my own stuff in. Great! Nice to see that people actually like the RC nostalgia…
In fact the display is still in the museum due to popularity (from the beginning the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology, were going to have the display from May through September 2012). Lately another museum has asked to have this next year for a temporary exhibition. I am already planning to reorganize the display with some new texts, pictures, cars and other stuff. Maybe going to have some sort of virtual rc racing to have some hands on stuff for school classes etc (have to check this out, as I've never been into this).
I've been helping a friend of mine shift into his new RC centre. We have been painting and cleaning the new building most nights and weekends for the last 2 months often until 3.00am ... This builing is huge..4 floors of 3000 square foot a...

Hi, finally my account was activated:) I am a guy from Norway, and you'll probably find me mostly on the kyosho-section. I have an obsession for the turbo optima mid, and got one NIB, one shelf queen and one runner:) I also got a porsche 911 slant...
Just found this a couple of days ago when I was searching for hop-ups to Kyosho Scorpion 2014 or Tomahawk 2014.

Mini z... Wow you must be young or still have amazing reflexes. I use mini z to train my reflexes for my1/8 gp driving but it's got to be the single hardest form of Rc driving I know. Drives me insane. Hahaha. Welcome.
Has anyone visited Associated (the facility)? I was wondering if there were any historical vehicles on display? Either on road or off road? If there is or if someone lives out that way, take some pics and post please. I have often wondered what...

Here are the pictures I shot of Gene Husting's RC Museum that's in his home:

I actually acquired Gene's RC12i from Curtis last year. It was not his personal race car but his promotional/marketing car. It is on display at Hobby Action Raceway in Chandler, AZ.
Any thoughts on creating a virtual RC museum as part of the RC10Talk site? The concept would be to allow members to upload excellent examples of each RC model. We could start off with the basic models (RC10 Gold, Graphite, Champion, Worlds, etc..),...

We had one many years ago. It was a complete pain in the ass to navigate, so it was scr8ped. That's the reason we have the Gallery Forum now
