Re: Ultima Top deck ( which version)
I just checked the Tower Hobbies catalog and they show these cars with the Kelron chassis. I don't see the aluminum chassis listed even as a hop-up.

Richie, I think it was Euro and Asia market that got the aluminum. US got the Kelron. Kelron probably has something that causes cancer in it or something like that....

Re: Ultima Top deck ( which version)
I don't think so. I think it came out in 1989 or 1990. It doesn't show up in my 1989 tower catalog. I'm missing the 1990 one so I'm unable to check. I've never seen one here in the states but that doesn't mean it didn't get here somehow.Mr. ED wrote:Rich: did they sell the Saurus in the US?

And another scale driver that looks scared shitless.Mr. ED wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DhwQ4M4W4I&feature=related around 14 seconds you see the alloy chassis

Hmmm, the driving characteristics don't look too great. Unless they can't steer.
