Thank you! After working on this project for over a year, I wanted to make the presentation (especially) on this forum more than just a couple of lines and a picture.

DerbyDan wrote:Wow!! What a fantastic display - really nicely laid out & some real 'gems' in amongst those cars - in fact i'm sure we'd be happy to have any one of those cars within our own collections.

My personal favourite has got to be the set-up with the wooden race box & Mirage racers - kinda reminds me of the box I made with my dad, which weighed as much as the racing kit inside it!

I used my Beatties bag up until quite recently - funny to see one in a museum!
Yeah, strange how qualities of things change when objects of common use goes on display. Also VERY fond of the Mirage racers - alot to say about Swedish 1:12 cars but it will have to be later. Thank you!

Nice to hear from a Nordic neighbour! Just for you other guys; Danish is very close to Norwegian and Team Tarmslyng would equal Team Volvulus (messed up bowels). Those team names…

Awesome collection. I am glad I can say that I have owned a few of what you display there. Is there room for more in there?

Nice you noticed this trio, and it’s sort of a personal signature. The Fox was my first car with tolerable handling capabilities. Even though I ruled the street with this car, I soon got a full Hot Trick conversion with RC10 shocks and Thorp drive line (and as you all probably know not exactly a quantum leap in performance). Actually I was the only one known to have this version of the Fox in Norway at that time. Custom fees and trades profit made Hot Trick awfully expensive here… Since it was a one of a kind, my car got the nick name Pensel Fox, as I was called Pensel (Pensel would be brush in English – and I think I was called brush due to my home grown big wig of curly hair…). The Killer is practically a copy of the Fox sold by Maplin in the UK. In it’s own way this trio is telling both some local history and important general characteristics of the rc car game in the eighties.
