Another 10T steal deal

Post by GoldRush »

well i was scrounging around on some other sites im part of in the classifieds and stumpled across an ad selling 2 vintage rc10t trucks with a bag of spares. his price was way to high in my opinion at $200 since he had stripped the ano on both trucks and he had drilled extra holes to lighten them so i offered him $80 and he came back at $95 since the cost of shipping was a bit higher than he expected so i agreed at $95. both trucks have dahms bodies...the black body is in really nice shape...the blue and white body is abused but still fixable to help stop the spread of damage. i got a few nice new in bag original team associated parts and some in mid year american flag packaging and over all alot of nice out of bag new and used parts...even have what look a new set of 4 teflon shock pistons? overall i am very happy with the deal...also in a few days i got another batch of associated vintage goodness coming...mostly buggy stuff but im a collecting all i can to finish projects like crazy. ill let the pics do the rest.

do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

thanks johnny....yes there was alot of rpm goodies...the black truck has tecnacraft turnbuckles and the blue/white has lunsford as well...im also digging the mip battery strap...i only seen those in radio control car action when i was younger and lways wanted one but they were way expensive at the time. im gonna be pulling them apart and cleaning and reassembling them as he was usng them for oval and the shocks are funky
