a Marui Samurai to restore

Post by cyberfox »

Hi,

It was not planified, but I have just bought a Samurai yesterday, It is not too bad condition, but not really good, so there is some job on it, also some parts to find.

This a few pics of the car as I got it:

Congrats - looks to be in a good condition.
The tires on the one side looks a bit worn though :-)

You can buy the roof from Pargu 2000 i think.

Tires will be harder to find.

That's in really good nic to mine . This was after a total strip & clean up.

The Samurai has 3 shocks; a front mono and 2 in the rear. Mark's evidently upgrading the stock rear shocks with some superior Kyosho Golds. If the Samurai shocks are of anywhere the same quality as what was available on my brother's Galaxy--small bore, none too smooth--that would be a worthwhile upgrade. :)

Hi,

Excepted a few non visible parts, my Samurai is now complete, maybe I'll add new tires later if I find a set of it, but nothing else needs to make a great car, to my mind 8)
