New Rear Wheels
I have been lurking on here reading up on how to get my CE gold tub (I wanna say 6011 because of the bushings) driving again. It is in pristine condition considering that the only reason it was not run when I was young is because my brother botched putting the diff together and it never drove. So years later and it still had fresh rear tires, me being nostalgic, I could not bear to see those pretty tires (#6823, step pin) get ruined from driving.
So I started reading up on here the best way to adapt modern rims onto the car. There are many creative methods on here, the one I will eventually do is the B44CVD's/rpm hubs to get the rear onto hexes as a permanent fix. But, I did not have the funds when I first got the itch to run the old RC10, So I took an alternate approach. I took the old plastic hex adapters from the rear of my SC10 and drilled the centers out to 1/4" and enlarged the pin slot ever so slightly and put them on the axle, perfect fit. For the rims I used . . . the Traxxas mini E-revo 2.2 dished rim http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_25_1466_1231/products_id/172189/n/Traxxas-22-Dished-Wheels-White-2 they have the perfect offset and take buggy tires, no rub on the shocks, hubs, anything. I am hoping that these rims work for the B44 rear end mod (because thats next up on the list)
I hope other people find this useful.

Re: New Rear Wheels
If those work than maybe the JConcept Rulux versions with increased offset will work as well.

And I assume Bandit rears too.

Re: New Rear Wheels
Phin, the rims take the rear width to: 9.8", roughly the same width as the stock rims, from what I can measure they result in the same width.
Those high offset rulux look like they might do the job too, good eye.
