anyone ever used the "Nova 2 speed transmission" ??

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

(I remember it was a Hong Kong product, used to be quite popular in my locality during that era ........ with Turbo Optima, it was crazy fast :shock: )

I always wanted one but never saw one back in the day. Perhaps they were banned by ROAR?

I remember them but have never seen one in person. I don't know how well they would handle brushless.

always drooled over them but never saw one in person. simple design, same basic concept still used. I bet they work great! Until you try using reverse :shock:

I forgot about the reverse part. I think you could only go forward with them. The other problem was once it was attached to your motor, they didn't fit much due to the added length.

I think the only suitable motor for this 2 speed thing is the Tamiya short motor for M-cars...... :lol:

Interested how well they work also. I know there's 2 versions, one won't do reverse and the more expensive version will. There's quite a few of them on the bay.
