Re: The Tenderfoot’s red Tomahawk
I'd add some silver grey in the paint scheme and keep the black for window frames, pinstripes and other details mainly

Looks awesome, Lars! Can't wait to see it finished. So is that what you're gonna call it, the "Tomatohawk"?

Thanks for your input, but I don’t know about “Tomatohawk”
Guys, what do you think about this babies, will they work on this vintage custom car?

I like the look of the original shocks, If its going to be a runner i would go with the new style shocks, they both would look cool

Re: The Tenderfoot’s red Tomahawk
I can't really tell the difference between titnanium and silver?
Either way: they are too shiny for my taste. I'd go for something more neutral; to let the real beauty speak out from the other parts.

Re: The Tenderfoot’s red Tomahawk
Those red Kyosho shocks look great! Too bad they *suck* so bad...I'd probably get some Kyosho Golds, remove the anodize, polish them up, and have them anodized red. Unless the car is only ever gonna sit on a shelf, I'd want a smooth, functioning suspension on it.

Are those Carson tires on the Duratrax rims? I love the way they look on buggies. I used to have a set on my Bullet VW Bug Project.

Well… I spouse you are right all the way. They suck and the car will probably never touch the dirt…Coelacanth wrote:Those red Kyosho shocks look great!
