Couple of Losi questions
I picked up a losi frankenbuggy of sorts. I was really only interested in the composite craft chassis it had. I noticed it had some sort of front brace on it which I have never seen. Its aluminum, and it looks like it was not a home made item. Has anyone ever seen this before?
Also...are these RPM arms for the LXT?

Re: Couple of Losi questions
Can't help on the arms or the brace - but, are you sure the brace is aluminum? I think I see rust on it...

The arms are RPM for the LXT I believe, the brace is new to me, but a nice part.

Yes... RPM front arms!
Now you just go look for a pair of rears
The brace I have never seen as a "mainstream" part either... but it makes sense as I remember cracking a few front buklheads in the past...

Re: Couple of Losi questions
Heres a couple of more pics. I had a feeling they werent LXT rear arms either, although I dont have anything to compare it too. Also note the monster long shocks, they dont look as long as they are in the pic, but they are way longer than the stock shocks. Theyre plastic bodied, but I have no idea what they are.JK Racing wrote:curious what rear arms those are, because they are not LXT arms.

The only reason why I bought it is because of this chassis. Composite craft and it did have the upper deck, although broken in the front. This chassis though is not without its issues. Someone tried to reinforce the rear by gluing another piece of carbon fiber to the top of it. The glue looks almost like a yellow caulk. I was going to try to remove it, but I'm too afraid of breaking the chassis. I suppose it cant hurt anything if I leave it as is.

Re: Couple of Losi questions
They look like xxt-xxxt rear arms but the triangles end to end look too similar in size from picture, they have one smaller one larger triangle Or is it just the picture angle??

Re: Couple of Losi questions
Hey, someone stole my idea on those rear arms.
Those are XXXNT rear arms. (a9811 is the graphite version, not sure on RTR version number)

They are good bit longer than the LXT arms. The hub area is also narrower as can be seen in his photo. But the inner hinge area is pretty much identical to the LXT arms. Because of the extra length you would have to stick to sliders and forget the XX trans unless you can find the right length shafts. Even then I am not sure I would use the stock slider stretched out that far. Maybe find some Traxxas ones that might be longer.
