1968 Chevy Camaro Street Stock

Post by Bomber72 »

I figured I'd post up some pics since I did the Custom Works wheel & 3/16 axle conversion over the weekend. The transmission is from an old T3 that was gathering dust and the rear bumper is a spare Bolink Legend part I had laying around. I had to put on the bumper because the rear of the chassis was pretty mangled and had to be cut off. I threw the Duratrax Photon motor in just for the heck of it... and it runs quicker than I thought, so I'll leave it in. This is strictly just a parking lot basher anyway, so no need to trick it out too much. It really hooks up now and sticks to the pavement thanks to the wheels.

Wow, it looks pretty good. Must be a real head turner with that Camaro body on it.
RC10talk.com is like a bad accident, I just can't stop looking at it...

That is way cool looking. Is that an HPI body?

Yup. I was using it on a pan based chassis, but decided it would look better on the RC10. I just had to trim the wheel wells a little bigger for clearance.
