my birthday present to my oldest daughter!
This is my oldest daughters first hobby grade rc I built for her out of my Tamiya TL01. I don't know who made the body but the wheels and tires are from a Slash. She has a blast with it. I got the body with a T3 I bought and used it since she loves VW beetles. I am also getting a rustler xl1 for my youngest today for her bday tomorrow. What rc's have you guys given to your little ones for their first?
Super phenominal cosmic plans! itty bitty bank account.

Re: my birthday present to my oldest daughter!
That looks great! You have a very lucky daughter.
My daughter rebuilt my original Grasshopper just before she turned 7. That's it on the right:

From parts I built my son's Monster McQueen that same winter for his 5th birthday:

The next Christmas they got a Frog to build:

A Lunchbox kit was built the next winter, followed by 2wd Slashes and now airplanes and helis... RC is a great way to teach construction techniques, patience and discipline (especially when flying nitro plane much bigger than you
) and a fantastic way to spend time with your kids.
Congrats and enjoy!

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.
