Bullistorm ESC
Hello everyone, I've been snooping around this forum for a little while, and finally have a few questions I would like to ask. First if anyone know's how to program a bullistorm ESC without the program card I would like to know how. Secondly, it the gear cover from any newer model usable on the RC10T. My truck is an RC10T, recently installed Bullistorm ESC, Venom 13.5 BL motor, 5000Mah Zippy lipo. Truck is scary fast to how it was with 20 year old tech on it.

Re: Bullistorm ESC
Probably is a tech question. I am no help on that particular esc. As for the gear cover goes, only that era fits whether it is a T or buggy. The newer styles can be made to fit but you must drill one hole as only one lines up.
The Fox, Falcon, 9 RC10s black/gold/graph, Optima Mid SE EXT, Losi XXXT, B3, B4, 3 T4s, Evader BX, Evader ST, Buggy Champ '09, Sand Scorcher '10, RC10T, RC10DS
Re: Bullistorm ESC
never heard of that esc.... so i looked it up on google. tons of info on it
looks like it is similar to a hobbywing
try this:
Make sure endpoints are maxed, trims are centered.
For Futaba radios (or Futaba OEMs), throttle channel should be reversed.
Connect battery, press and hold set-up button while turning ESC ON.
ESC should flash red and beep the motor repeatedly. Release button as quickly as possible.
With throttle in Neutral Position, press and release set-up button, you should hear a single beep and one light flash.
Pull throttle to Full Throttle position, press and release button again, you should hear two beeps and two light flashes.
Push throttle to Full Reverse position, press and release button, you should hear three beeps and three light flashes.
Relax to neutral position and wait a few seconds, you should now be armed and ready.

Yes, that is how the throttle is set up, I was refering to the advanced options that can be programmed with a card, the manual is a little vague on how that is done beside a chart. How is it done on a hobbywing?

Re: Bullistorm ESC
The manual is indeed vague about everything, I have a 60A Bullistorm ESC in my Barney car. I got mine with the program card, though. I assume you could buy the card separately, it only costs $7 or $8 or something. I sent a message to the seller who sold me mine to ask if he can sell program cards separately. I'll let you know the answer if he replies.

Re: Bullistorm ESC
Hmm, it's not looking good. The guy I bought my ESC from replied basically stating that they had no stock at this moment. Judging by the sudden lack of Bullistorm ESCs on eBay right now (except for the 120A models), it appears they may have had a run of product and once it's sold, it's gone. I hope my ESC doesn't fail because the sudden lack of Bullistorm products on eBay makes me think warranty replacement options might no longer exist...daniels9424cs wrote:There aren't any listed on ebay seperatly at this time and leaders hobby has them on back order, thanks for asking.

Re: Bullistorm ESC
I got from Leader Hobby on Ebay, which is also the site that sells them (like Hobby king has Turnigy) Current stock on all the bullistorm stuff is negative, -40 on the 60A, and -89 on the program cards, so it might just be them waiting to get more made (hopefully, because they are still listed on the site). Either that or they are done with them.
Re: Bullistorm ESC
knock off hobbywing, lol, cloning the "evil chinese".
anyway, i have programmers. shoot me a pm.
